The patented design of Door Armor insures that MAXIMUM protection requires minimal skill for installation. This kit is designed to work on Interior Doors with both a deadbolt and a doorknob. This kit comes with one Pro Door Shield.
- The Door Armor Jamb Shield is 40" long. It attaches to the lock side of the door jamb. The jamb shield is cut with knock-out holes that are designed to fit locks spaced from 4.5" to 21.5" apart.
- The Pro Door Shields are essential for ensuring that the door will not split when kicked. Pro Door Shields can be installed in less than 5 minutes and do not require removal of the locks.
- The PRO Door Shields are installed through the door and are designed to stop prying.
- Finally, if the thieves can’t kick the door in, the more advanced ones will try to pry it open. Having our Pry Shield installed helps prevent them from easily prying your door open.
- The included tamper resistant screws mean it’s completely secure.
While the Interior Jamb Shield will make the jamb considerably stronger, we warn customers that many interior doors are hollow, limiting the effectiveness of any protective device. If you are interested in creating a safe room, consider replacing a hollow door with a standard exterior door before applying this kit.
