I want to install your product on my front door that is a metal door in a wood frame. Most all the way around the door is easily 2 quarter clearance except a few areas are less than. My questions are; Is there any special concerns about the metal door?

The only area where the 2 quarters is really important is the area where the lock goes into the door frame. 1 quarter of clearance everywhere else is fine. As for metal doors, the majority of doors that our products are installed on are metal. Based on your clearance, purchasing a kit with MINI door shields should work fine for you.
